NeoLASIK HD is laser surgery during which the protective corneal flap is created with femtosecond laser and the ZEISS MEL 80 therapeutic excimer laser works on the basis of a digital map of the eye created with aberrometer.

NeoLASIK HD with femtosecond laser (femtolasik) is currently the best for your eyes that can be offered by refractive surgery. NeoLASIK HD has the highest potential to achieve perfect vision.

Same as in the case of modern TV receivers and cameras, the abbreviation HD stands here for high definition.

All laser methods of removing diopters change the curvature of the eye cornea so that the optical system of the eye will form images of observed objects on the retina as true as possible.

In the case of PRK, LASIK and NeoLASIK-type surgery, the laser work is based on the expression of the disorder in a way you know from your glasses prescription, i.e. expression by means of a mark and a number of diopters and according to the number of so-called cylinders and their axis.

In the case of NeoLASIK surgery, the laser work is based on the digital map of the eye created on the basis of measurements of the eye with a special device called aberrometer. The aberrometer measures the optical system of the eye in several hundred points. It can capture and describe even minor irregularities of the optical system of the eye that are, however, very important for the quality of vision and that cannot be expressed by means of dioptric description of the disorder. In addition to the basic disorder, the laser removes these minor irregularities during the actual surgery as well.

Names such as Made-to-Measure Surgery, Individualized LASIK, Custom Treatment, Wavefront Based Treatment, Inteligent Lasik, Ultralasik+, Ultra Elite LASIK etc. are also used to denote NeoLASIK HD.
