Laser surgery in children
Laser surgery in children was considered a taboo for many years. However, doctors´ and parents´ opinions changed a few years ago due to the fact that foreign and domestic medical centres achieved excellent results that were published in renowned professional magazines
Laser surgery is suitable for children with:
- high inborn, one-sided short-sightedness,
- more serious plus prescriptions that are difficult to correct with glasses,
- a substantial difference between left eye and right eye diopters difficult to correct with glasses,
In children over 10 years of age, the process of the surgery is identical with the process in adults. In the cae of younger children, it is useful if an anesthesiologist is present.
In the case of children younger than 15, parents are welcome to be present during the surgery.

Vážení,
chtěl bych Vám touto cestou velmi poděkovat za to co jste udělali pro mého 12-ti letého syna - sportovce, po zdravotní stránce jako naprostí profesionálové, ale zároveň i za přístup, jednání, chování a v nespolední řadě i prostředí - vše špičkové a z mého pohledu bezchybné. Nechci psát pouze o samotném operačním zákroku na oku mého syna - dítěte, ale hlavně o přístupu k vystresovaným klientům před a v průběhu zákroku - děkuji.
Po tom, co jsem u Vás zažil a na vlastní oči se přesvědčil, nemá smysl chválu rozvíjet, protože jsem si stoprocentně jistý, že ani na nic jiného nejste zvyklí, proto jen velmi stručně - ještě jednou děkuji.
